How to Sell on noon in the UAE and Saudi Arabia

Updated October 2026 · 8 min read · Hadjer Ben, COO

To sell on noon you need a registered business: a trade licence (UAE) or Commercial Registration (Saudi Arabia) that covers trading or e-commerce, an ID for the person named on it, and business bank details. You register in noon Seller Lab, create a store and a legal entity, sign the terms, and noon reviews your eligibility. noon charges a referral fee on each sale, from about 5% to 27% depending on the category, plus fulfilment fees if noon stores and ships your stock. Payouts are weekly.

Widget System manages noon seller accounts alongside Amazon.ae, Amazon.sa, Namshi and Trendyol. Every platform fact below comes from noon’s own seller help centre, checked in October 2026.

Who can sell on noon?

Registered businesses. In the UAE and Saudi Arabia, noon onboards companies with a trade licence or Commercial Registration. Individual sellers are accepted only in Egypt, and noon has stopped accepting freelance certificates for new Saudi registrations. A company registered outside the target country can sell as an international seller with a VAT certificate from that country.

Do you need VAT registration to sell on noon?

In the UAE, no. A local company below the AED 375,000 VAT threshold can register as non-VAT and sign a declaration. In Saudi Arabia, plan to have a VAT number: noon’s documents page says VAT is mandatory for all sellers operating in KSA, although its VAT FAQ still describes a non-VAT option. Either way, noon’s fees exclude VAT and VAT is added to them.

How much does noon charge sellers?

noon charges a referral fee on every sale, set by category. Its registration guide lists no sign-up or subscription fee. If noon fulfils your orders (FBN), you also pay a fulfilment fee per unit and monthly storage.

Referral fees exclude VAT, with a minimum of 1 AED or SAR per item. noon changes some rates during the year, so check the current table before you price.

Fashion is where noon and Amazon differ most. Amazon.ae’s referral fee for apparel and shoes is 15% (see our Amazon.ae seller fees guide); noon’s is 27%. Price your range per channel, not once. More on this for fashion brands.

FBN or FBP: which noon fulfilment model should you use?

FBN usually suits small, fast-moving items. FBP suits bulky or slow stock, where storage fees add up. We decide per SKU, not per account.

How do noon payouts work?

noon creates a statement every Wednesday and pays on Thursday of the following week; the money reaches your bank in 1 to 2 business days. The minimum payout is 100 AED or SAR to a local-currency account, and smaller balances roll over. The weekly balance must be positive after returns and fees.

How long does noon seller approval take?

Registration happens in Seller Lab: create your organisation ID (email and phone verification), create a store and legal entity (licence, VAT status, representative ID, store name in Arabic and English), then sign the terms. After the legal entity is approved, noon runs an eligibility review, which it says can take up to 24 to 48 working hours. If something is rejected, noon emails the reason and you resubmit.

What we check before submitting: the licence activity covers trading or e-commerce, the ID matches the name on the licence, the bank account name matches the legal entity, and the Arabic store name is ready.

Can you add Namshi through noon?

noon owns Namshi. For a fashion client we onboarded, opening a noon seller account first and adding Namshi from it was much faster than applying to Namshi directly.

Read our guide to selling on Namshi.

Can one agency run noon and Amazon together?

Yes. We manage noon, Amazon.ae, Amazon.sa, Namshi and Trendyol accounts with one catalogue, one stock plan and pricing set per channel, and run Meta and Google ads in step with that stock.
